Royal Hawaiian Beach Services (RHBS) embark on its pursuit to endorse cultural revitalization for Hawaiians while providing 5-star resort services and amenities to the guests and owners of the Beach Villas at Ko Olina (BVKO). Upholding Hawai’i’s deep cultural values remains a priority as RHBS partners with the BVKO to fulfill its commitment to championing the traditional values of Aloha. It is with great pride, that BVKO pursues to extend opportunities for Hawaiian-owned and operated businesses to help perpetuate the Hawaiian culture. Ultimately allowing visitors to experience and connect with Hawaii in a fulfilling and authentic way.

Reminiscing to a time period when a friendly smile and a kind heart could go a long way–akin to when Elvis Presley portrayed a local tour guide in the 1961 film Blue Hawaii–Presley and his smiling comrades (the Island Beach Boys) were such an iconic image at the time and depicted idyllic Hawaiian hospitality. Fast forward to the current day, it seems like much of that warm reception has been lost for visitors to our islands.

At RHBS, we strive to create joyful moments and experiences that compel guests to return time and time again. As part of creating those yearned-for experiences, the BVKO has expanded its offerings to include beach services within the Honu Lagoon in partnership with Royal Hawaiian Beach Services (RHBS). RHBS will offer guests a prime authentic Hawaiian beach experience. In doing so, RHBS aims to recreate the guest experience and harken back to the nostalgic era of the traditional beach boys with service firmly built upon Hawaiian Values.

For many Hawaiians, the pathway to connecting and conveying their cultural roots is bound by a deep connection to the Kai (ocean) and ‘Aina (land). As such, beginning the first week of August, RHBS will commence ocean services by offering SUP rentals and will also later integrate their land services, inclusive of a classical vintage-styled beach umbrella and chaise lounge rentals.

“We are looking forward to not only expanding the services with RHBS in the future”, said Resort Manger, Peter Togawa in a statement. “But we also believe that we have found the perfect fit for services within the Honu Lagoon and are excited about this new endeavor.
